Payments & Refunds Policy
Reviewed: 9 August 2026
When this policy applies
This policy applies when Callout offers paid subscriptions, digital cosmetics, promotional placements, Guild upgrades, or other paid digital services. A purchase also remains subject to the Terms of Service and the rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
Age and authority to pay
Paid Callout products are intended for people aged 18 or older. By purchasing, you confirm that you are legally able to enter the transaction and are authorized to use the selected payment method. People under 18 must not make purchases or receive creator payouts until Callout introduces an approved age and guardian-consent process.
Prices, taxes, and payment processing
The checkout page will show the price, billing period, currency, and any applicable taxes before payment is confirmed. Payments may be processed by Stripe or another identified payment provider. Callout does not directly store complete card details. Your bank or payment provider may apply its own conversion or transaction charges.
Subscriptions and automatic renewal
Recurring plans renew automatically at the displayed interval until cancelled. The renewal price and date will be shown before purchase and in account billing controls. You may cancel at any time through the subscription-management page. Cancellation stops future renewals; paid access normally continues until the end of the current billing period.
Refund position
Except where required by law, Callout purchases are final and payments already charged are non-refundable. We do not normally provide refunds for unused subscription time, accidental purchases caused by failing to review checkout details, changes of mind after digital benefits have been supplied, spent promotional credit, or digital items that have been delivered or used.
This does not remove mandatory consumer rights. A refund or correction may be provided where legally required, where a duplicate or incorrect charge occurred, where a payment was unauthorized, or where Callout failed to provide the purchased service. Nothing in this policy limits a right that applicable law does not allow Callout to exclude.
EU withdrawal rights
Consumers in the European Union may have a statutory withdrawal right for certain distance contracts. Where immediate access to a digital service is requested, checkout may ask for express consent to begin performance during the withdrawal period and acknowledgement of any resulting effect on the right of withdrawal. Eligibility is assessed under the law applicable to the transaction.
Promotions and digital items
A paid promotion buys the stated distribution opportunity, not a guaranteed number of views, votes, followers, or other result. Promoted content must be clearly labelled and does not receive an advantage in vote calculations or rankings. Digital cosmetics and virtual tokens have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, and are not transferable unless Callout expressly states otherwise.
Failed payments and misuse
Paid access may be paused or removed when a payment fails, is reversed, or is reasonably suspected to be fraudulent. Chargeback abuse, payment-method misuse, or attempts to obtain paid benefits without payment may result in account restrictions. This does not prevent a user from raising a genuine billing dispute or exercising legal rights.
Billing support
Review the amount, billing interval, and account before confirming a purchase. If you believe a charge is duplicated, unauthorized, incorrect, or connected to a service that was not delivered, contact the official Callout support channel promptly and include the transaction date and payment receipt identifier. Do not publish card details or other sensitive payment information.
Changes to this policy
Callout may update this policy as paid products and legal requirements develop. Material changes affecting an active subscription will be communicated through the service or the contact method associated with the account before they take effect where required.
